Customer Service / Tech Support Representative

Are you a person that lives and breathes internet technologies?

Digital Pacific is a web hosting company in business for around 10 years and currently experiencing a high growth rate. We have a reputation for delivering high quality service. We have ongoing opportunities for Customer Service / Tech Support Representatives to join our team supporting our customers via phone and email. This position will pave the way for you to move up to a senior position in time. Possibly into a networking or Sys Admin role.

Responsibilities and skills required for the role include:

• Troubleshoot Web, DNS and MySQL server issues
• Respond to telephone and email requests
• Technical and Billing Account Management
• Ability to communicate with staff and customers on all levels
• Knowledge of web hosting and domain name registrations
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
• Attention to detail

The following would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of FTP, DNS and Email related issues
• Knowledge of web technologies such as PHP / MySQL
• Knowledge of web hosting control panels such as Plesk or cPanel
