The People Behind Digital Pacific

Today we are meeting Daniel who is our Technical Support Team Leader. His role is to ensure that all of our customers are being supported to the highest standards of customer service.

Meet Daniel – Technical Support

 

I joined Digital Pacific in 2013 in Level 1 Technical Support. From my first day at work I knew that this was unlike any other workplace I had experienced, the people were friendly, supportive and I immediately felt like part of the team. When it’s time to work, everyone works hard and when it’s time to play, we play hard too.

My knowledge of the hosting industry was limited when I started, but very quickly (with the help of others) learnt the ropes and could solve most issues that came through the support desk. I showed an interest in leadership and was given the opportunity to train some new team members and take on a leadership role on the support desk.

I’m very customer focused and it’s great to be surrounded with a team of like-minded individuals. Everyone here has the opportunity to make a difference and influence the direction of the company. I also have an interest in Marketing and have been given the opportunity to manage several marketing projects (Like these blog posts)

In short, I love my job and couldn’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be.
