Using Your Existing Domain Name with our Hosting
Already own a domain name?
You can use it with any Digital Pacific hosting service.
If you have already registered your domain name elsewhere and wish to use it with a Digital Pacific hosting plan, simply order any hosting plan and select the " I want to keep my domain name at my current domain registrar and only use Digital Pacific to host it " option. Then, enter your registered domain name and continue through the form.
After we activate your account, contact your domain registrar or log in to their domain management section to request a name server change. This redirects your existing domain name to your new Digital Pacific hosting service.
You need to provide your domain registrar with the following nameserver information:
ns1.digitalpacific.com.au
ns2.digitalpacific.com.au
The DNS delegation process will start, taking no longer than 24 hours to complete. At this point, your hosting account should be accessible by typing the domain name into a browser. You can now upload your website and set up email accounts, both of which you can find help on by visiting our support section.
