Using Your Existing Domain Name with our Hosting

Already own a domain name?

You can use it with any Digital Pacific hosting service.

If you have already registered your domain name elsewhere and wish to use it with a Digital Pacific hosting plan, simply order any hosting plan and select the "I will use my existing domain name" option. Then, enter your registered domain name and continue through the form.

After we activate your account, contact your domain registrar or log in to their domain management section to request a name server change. This redirects your existing domain name to your new Digital Pacific hosting service.

You need to provide your domain registrar with the following nameserver information:

ns1.digitalpacific.com.au
ns2.digitalpacific.com.au

The DNS delegation process will start, taking no longer than 24 hours to complete. At this point, your hosting account should be accessible by typing the domain name into a browser. You can now upload your website and set up email accounts, both of which you can find help on by visiting our support section.
