Getting Started with your new hosting account.

Step 1

You must go to where you registered your domain name and log in to your members section and forward your domain name to our nameservers, our nameserver information is below.

NS1.DIGITALPACIFIC.COM.AU (IP Address) 216.127.80.15
NS2.DIGITALPACIFIC.COM.AU (IP Address) 203.19.59.4

Please note that you will not be able to access your website or control panel as it may take up to 48 hours for your domain name to propagate through the internet to our webservers (This process is called DNS Propagation).

Step 2

Once you can see your web page holder you will be able to upload your website. To upload your website you will need an FTP Program such as FileZilla or AceFTP, you can find these programs via google . You will need to enter the FTP information below to log in to your account.

URL: ftp.yourdomain.com.au
User Name: username@yourdomain.com.au
Password: pass

Once logged in upload your website to the mainwebsite_html folder. Your home page must be named index.html which will overwrite the page holder (this is the first page the server looks for when a request is made for your website)

Step 3

After you have uploaded your website you may want to create an email address for yourself, you do this by going to your website administrator interface. To access your admin section go to www.yourdomain.com.au/admin . Once logged in click here to see how to create email address's
