Domain parking is for those who want to register a domain name but dont need a website at this stage, when someone types in your URL they will be redirected to a place holder stating that the site will be up shortly. Domain parking is Free with all new domain only orders.

URL Redirection or URL Forwarding is when the user types in one address (URL) for a web site and is then redirected to a site, often on a different server than the domain. Often the URL name entered will be short, easy to remember URL while the destination page is actually defined by a much longer, harder to remember URL. For example http://members.optusnet.com.au/users/mywebsite or http://users.bigpond.com.au/user/joeblogssite.

The advantage of this, is that you can get rid of your long URL address and replace it with your own brand eg., http://www.mycompany.com.au . URL forwarding can also offer significant savings over traditional domain hosting. . The URL forwarding features are accessible from the domain management area (select "Manage Domain" in the main menu, left).

DNS HostingDNS hosting $35 per year

DNS Hosting is perfect for any domain owner who wants complete control of their domain. Our fully automated DNS Hosting service allows you to control your DNS records through our existing domain management area.

Using this service you can update / insert / delete any of the values we hold for your domain. We provide total control over the following:

  • Domain Servers (A Records)
  • Domain Aliases (CNAME Records)
  • Mail Servers (MX Records)

A common use for DNS Hosting is for ADSL users who wish to have some services on their own server - such as a mail server or an additional hostname - while leaving the main WWW services with their hosting provider.
