The Buddhist Punk party in honour of the Rolling Stones at Ruby Rabbit's '˜De Nom' on Monday 10th April couldn't have gone off with a bigger bang. The much anticipated Buddhist Punk party was held to coincide with the Australian Rolling Stones '˜Bigger Bang' World Tour, prior to the opening concert at Telstra Stadium on Tuesday 11th April. Monday's party at Ruby Rabbit proved to be no exception and appropriately was the first event to be held at the club's lush third level '˜De Nom'.

Guests were treated to a special appearance by none other than Mick Jagger himself. Mick came with some close friends & the Rolling Stones entourage '“ including Theodora Richards and Lizzy Jagger & members of the band Bernard Fowler, Blondie, Lisa Fischer, Chuck Lovell & Daryl Jones - partied in the exclusive new level of the club until the early hours of the morning. Other guests included Jon Stevens, Jodhi Meares, Terry Biviano, Steve Bastoni, Paul Briggs, Benny Elias, Chris Joannau (Silverchair), Rhet Hutchence, Paul Mac, Laura Csortan, Jade Macrae, Jude Bolton (Sydney Swans), Ryan O'Keefe (Sydney Swans), The Suicide Girls, Phil Jameison (Grinspoon), Wayne Cooper & Camilla, Olivia & Dave (Sydney Dance). Even Snoop Dog had a special order of drinks personally delivered to the venue in anticipation.

Buddhist Punk '“ voted one of Britain's coolest brands in 2005 & 2006 - have been throwing parties to celebrate their collaboration with The Rolling Stones following their various shows on the '˜Bigger Bang' tour, including a party in New York during New York Fashion Week & a party and Buddhist Punk show in Toronto. The parties celebrating Buddhist Punk's relationship with The Rolling Stones have become a highlight of the tour.

The Rolling Stones and Buddhist Punk have had a close association since 2002 when Buddhist Punk signed an exclusive merchandising deal to coincide with the band's 2002-03 '˜Forty Licks' world tour. The collaboration produced stage clothes for the band and a high end merchandise line which was distributed through the Buddhist Punk network of stores. After the success of this collection, Buddhist Punk are now on their 5th collection with The Rolling Stones and the relationship is ongoing. Both Mick Jagger& Keith Richard's daughters have personally strutted the catwalk for the Buddhist Punk label at New York Fashion Week.
